Rakshabandhan celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters and today its is celebrated by both brothers and sisters alike! While raksha bandhan simply stands for: raksha meaning “safety” and bandhan meaning “bond" we found out recently that it is celebrated on the full moon day, hence it’s falling on 12th August this year.
